SHARP LAND

During the last decade, Apulia region and especially Salento, made an extraordinary qualitative leap about production wine: thanks to few pioneers, it bet on its future:  from sour and sharp land, it gave life to new excellences about national and international enological sector. In Apulia, grape growing has been one of the most important representation in the farming activity.

Vineyards trained to grow on a sapling and an  espalier, through traditional ancient and modern methods, represent landscape and alter it by giving distinctive features which hardly you can find in other places: colours, smells, the expression of  the work of man and of the fruit of a poor but rich land, combination of heats,  winds coming from the sea, lands with different features and different exposures to the sun, give a good and typical taste to our wine.
